With the use of advanced algorithms and a variety of sensors, the patented TailiQ
Health 2.0 smart collar can precisely track an animal's vital signs, behavior, and
location, among other biometrics.
Use sophisticated analytics and machine learning algorithms to transform the data into
information that academics, veterinarians, and pet owners can use.
Many colleges and law enforcement organizations across the world have adopted and
extensively validated the TailiQ technology.

The Collar
Long-term usage is intended for the TailiQ collar. It is easy to use, lightweight, and
pleasant for the dog. Since the collar can gather the signals non-invasively through skin
and fur, there is no need for shaving or trimming.
The IP66 and IP68 international standards (IEC) are met by the waterproof and
ruggedized collar.
The use profile determines how much battery is used.
Compared to cellular, WiFi is far more energy efficient. As a result, we advise connecting
the collar to both your home WiFi network and any other networks where the pet could spend
a lot of time, including an office, daycare center, or family. The battery will typically
last three weeks between charges for a typical pet that spends the majority of the day
indoors and occasionally goes outdoors for walks.
A specific charger that
TailiQ provides is used to charge the battery. It takes around two hours to fully
charge. It is not advisable to attach a leash to the collar since the tagging and
pulling that accompany it will disrupt the collar's functionality.
Technology with Patents
The most cutting-edge collar of its kind is TailiQ's proprietary smart collar technology,
which was created by top veterinarians and approved by prestigious universities, research
centers, and governmental organizations.
The innovative features covered by
our smart collar patents include near real-time data analysis and alarms, as well as
remote, non-invasive, continuous vital sign recording anytime, anyplace, even while the
pet is moving.
For the purpose of evaluating a pet's health and identifying
illnesses, TailiQ's exclusive technology employs artificial intelligence and machine
learning to evaluate measures across all main vital signs, physiological, behavioral
biometrics, and location data.

The Sensors
Each TailiQ collar has several non-invasive, passive sensors included it, such as:
Thermometers
are used to measure temperature
Acoustic sensors for the measurement of respiration, pulse, and HRV
6-D accelerometers for calculating posture, activity, and calories
GPS for tracking one's whereabouts
The Data
The data is kept in a cloud-based database and is gathered continually, around-the-clock.
Every day, thousands of data points are collected for every pet, whether they are at home,
out for a walk, or almost anyplace else.
For optimal effects, we advise keeping the collar on the pet at all times (except from
when it is being charged).
Mobile and online applications display the data, which is automatically updated based on
user-selected settings (available sync intervals are 2/5/15/30 minutes).
Additionally, there is a unique GPS mode called "Find My Pet" that may be utilized in the
event that the pet gets lost or runs away. This mode updates position data every minute.
To prevent combining real pet data with unrelated noise, it will cease data collection if
the collar is removed from the pet for any reason. As soon as the dog has the collar back
on, it will resume its routine data collection.
Channels of communication
When available, WiFi or LTE (cellular) are used to send data from the collar to the TailiQ
servers.
Your dog will use the available WiFi network to save energy while it is at home or close
to a known network. By choosing "Collar configuration" under Pet Settings, the user may
add WiFi networks.
The collar will connect to an available LTE network using its universal SIM if there isn't
a WiFi network.
The collar will save the data in its internal memory cache and download it automatically
once it is back in convergent mode if there are no cellular or WiFi networks accessible.
Analytics
The TailiQ analytical engine continually aggregates and analyzes data. We use four levels
of analysis:
Detection of behavior patterns and vital sign data in almost real-time. The user can
change the thresholds for the notifications.
Individual pet values from the past and present are analyzed to find patterns and
aberrations that allow for the early identification of health issues.
Comparing a pet's statistics to that of other pets while taking into account factors
like age, weight, sex, etc.
Data patterns of pets with particular medical illnesses are compared to an individual
pet's data in order to estimate the probability that the pet would acquire the
condition of interest.
